Submissions

Participating in AOMC 2019

You are most welcome to send us your submissions for AOMC 2019. This year, submissions are divided into three categories namely full competitive papers, work in process papers and presentation only submissions.

Please ensure that you submit an anonymous paper since competitive and work in process papers will be double blind peer reviewed by a specialist panel in the various disciplines.

Category I: Competitive paper

  • Full papers to be submitted by 15 AprilĀ  2019.
  • The paper will undergo a double-blind peer review and combined in the conference proceedings. The conference proceedings will be available in the conference bags at the start of AOMC 2019.
  • Paper to be published in electronic conference proceedings (final print-ready paper to be submitted by 2 May 2019). Copyright form also to be submitted on this date.
  • Delegate/s whose papers are accepted will receive a slot on conference programme.
  • It is important that at least one of the authors register for the conference.
  • Good papers will be selected for publication to a DHET indexed journal and some will be published as a peer review book, meeting the criteria for output points.

Category II: Work in progress paper to be submitted

  • Work in progress papers to be submitted by 15 April 2019.
  • The paper will undergo a double-blind peer review and combined in the conference proceedings.
  • Paper to be published in electronic conference proceedings (final print-ready paper to be submitted by 2 May 2019). Copyright form also to be submitted on this date.
  • Delegate/s whose papers are accepted will receive a slot on conference programme.
  • It is important that at least one of the authors register for the conference.

Category III: Presentation only

  • Abstract to be reviewed by the Programme committee
  • Abstract to be submitted by 15 May 2019.
  • Final print-ready abstracts to be submitted by 15 May 2019.
  • Delegate receive slot on conference programme.
  • It is important that at least one of the authors/presenters register for the conference.

Deadline dates for abstracts and papers:

Submission of full papers: 15 April 2019
Submission of work in progress papers: 15 April 2019
Submission of abstracts for presentation only sessions: 15 May 2019

Please note that no presentations will be included in the programme unless full payment for the speaker’s registration has been received by 15 May 2019. No paper will be included in the proceedings if not presented at the conference.
